Community Bank

Advance Community Bank is a financial not-for-profit co-operative offering convenient ways to save money and cost-effective methods to borrow ethically and responsibly.

The Challenge

The organisation required a revamp of its current branding, there was a general idea of what they were looking for, but needed someone to pull in all of their ideas and package them into a linear creative strategy. 


After listening to ideas, a document was created that provided the board and staff members with clear and concise key messaging that would help them communicate the brand values and realise the brand vision. From here, a new logo was designed, case studies written, and a three month social media timeline was provided. Various other collateral was designed throughout such as business cards, social media banners and a Canva template bank for internal staff use.  

Brand Guidelines

These brand guidelines provided staff and external agencies with a clear definition of the brand identity and ensured that future comms were consistent both internally and externally.

The Logo 

Despite being a financial organisation it was important that the logo didn't display the serious and authoritative attributes that many financial logos do due to their target audience being those of low income families requiring short term loans and savings accounts. Therefore the chosen logo displays the brand ethos of being friendly, approachable and inclusive.
